Taliban claimed that the attack on malala was carried out by them at the will of Maulana Fazlullah, reportedly hiding in Afghanistan.

Pakistan has requested the Afghan government to hand over Fazlullah and his men.

It is extremely shameful  that  an Islamic scholar is involved in targeting a teenage just because she was for education..(The Dawn Newspaper 2nd November,2012)
